What's in the WHOIS?

All domain name registrants have an access to the central database containing the personal or enterprise contact information of domains. This database is known as the WHOIS database, and it is required by ICANN that all domains have valid information for WHOIS search.

Why need valid information ?

It is important to have valid information in the WHOIS search because it is needed to conduct domain name transfers, it is used by law enforcement for criminal investigations, and by the public to determine when a domain expires and how to contact the domain name owner.
